The healing powers of 432 Hz and why music should be tuned at this frequency. The points below show an exhaustive list of reasons why 432 Hz can balance and bring harmony to our emotional and physical bodies.
432 Hz resonates with the frequency of 8 Hz in the standard musical scale. It is said that 7.83 – 8 Hz is the fundamental “beat” of the planet. The heartbeat of the Earth is better known as Schumann resonance and is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who mathematically documented Mother Earth’s frequency in 1952.
432 Hz would activate the pineal gland and synchronize the two hemispheres of our brain – “unlocked and unused” potential and resources in our subconscious mind (connected to the right hemisphere) become awakened in this synchronization. All brain cell dendrites would operate with the maximum information flow possible between both hemispheres. Scientists call this “whole brain synchronization” and when achieved, your brain experiences extremely beneficial changes in hemispheric blood flow and chemistry. Further scientific investigations need to be undertaken to explicitly link 432 Hz to balanced hemispheric activity.
Below are a few recommendations for further studies:
Controlled Experiments: Techniques that involve EEG in some way have been used to measure interhemispheric synchronization and to compare 432 Hz to other frequencies, like 440 Hz, in a randomized control study.
Cross-disciplinary approach: a convergence of neuroscience experts, sound therapists, and musicians to devise an all-encompassing experiment.
Focus on Physiological and Psychological Outcomes: Investigating the connection between 432 Hz and relaxation, induction of lower stress, and emotional processing.
Still today, there is reputable evidence in the scientific literature of the benefits of 432 Hz:
Research published in 2019 found that 432 Hz reduced heart rate to more than 440 Hz (1).
A second study found a significant improvement in sleep for patients with disabilities after listening to 432 Hz music (2).
A third study in pre-op dental patients found that “the use of music significantly decreased clinical anxiety levels, and the frequency of 432 Hz was effective in decreasing salivary cortisol levels before tooth extraction” (3).
These studies all report the same trend: a reduction in anxiety and physiological changes in heart rate and blood pressure. In short, people feel better when listening to music at this frequency.
The process of synchronization is the same process of resonance that the Great Pyramid of Giza goes through with the beat of the Earth. If there is a potential resonant frequency for the pyramid, 432 Hz is a good candidate.
When a cross-section of the brain is superimposed on the cross-section of the interior of the Great Pyramid, an important question arises:
Were the chambers of the Great Pyramid designed to reflect the structures of the human brain?
As Graham Hancock points out in his book The Message of the Sphinx, the Great Pyramid functions as a mathematical scale model of the northern hemisphere of the Earth on a scale of 1:43,200.
If we multiply its height of 481.3949 feet by 43,200 and then divide by 5,280 (the number of feet in a mile), we get 3,938.685. That’s just 11 miles short of the radius of the earth, as measured between its poles, of 3,949.
If we multiply the perimeter of the Great Pyramid’s base, which is 3,023.16 feet, by 43,200 and then divide by 5,280 again, we get 24,734.94 miles. That’s just 170 miles short of the circumference of the Earth, as measured around the equator.
Now, keep in mind that the radius and circumference of Earth, as we know it today, are based on the most advanced methods of measurement that we have, whereas the Pyramids were built thousands of years ago. They were off by just a fraction of a percent, showing an incredibly high precision.
How did these ancient builders discover these measurements, and why did they base the Great Pyramid’s dimensions on multiples of 432?
There are other important numbers that John Michell centred around a geometrical figure he called the New Jerusalem Diagram, after the clues in the Book of Revelation that helped him reconstruct it. The basis of the diagram is cosmological, in that it accurately expresses the relative sizes of the earth and the moon. Its confirmation is metrological, in that the cosmic dimensions, given in miles, are replicated in smaller units at prehistoric sites (e.g., Stonehenge) and in mediaeval buildings (e.g., Glastonbury Abbey). It is also theological, for the same canonical numbers recur in the gematria (letter-number equivalents) of significant words/phrases of the Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament.
One of these canonical numbers is 3,960 miles for the radius of the Earth. For example, 396 is the standard gematria of “salvation” in Hebrew, הושיעה. If we do the reverse calculation, multiplying 3,960 by 5,280 and then dividing the result by 43,200, the height of the Great Pyramid is 484 ft, which is an interesting number. The number 484 is the 48th palindromic number, and it is also a square number linked to the approximative value of Pi:
The number 22 is a numerical foundation of the dimensions of the Great Pyramid incorporated within the geometric figure of the New Jerusalem when scaled down to a ratio of 360, the total angle in a circle. It is interesting to see that the height of the Great Pyramid is naturally calculated from the numerical foundations of this geometric blueprint. The difference between 484 and 432 is 52, a result close to the slope angle of the Great Pyramid of 51.84 degrees.
Of course, one of the prototypes that John Michell discussed for the New Jerusalem as a geometric blueprint is Stonehenge. The number 432 is encoded in the architecture. There are several sets of stones arranged in circles of a full 360 degrees. The second circle (bluestone) is made up of 60 stones and represents Earth’s precessional full cycle of 25,920 years. Divide 25,920 by 60, and what do we get? 432.
“Music at 432 Hz is nicer for hearing, softer, brighter and more beautiful than music in 440 Hz. Though the untrained ear may not hear this difference; it can be felt.”
Richard Huisken, Founder of the ‘Back to 432 Hz' Committee
