Most of the time, when we seek to know what it is to be conscious and what lies beyond the physical, we are led to consciousness and vibration. So, what does it mean that everything is vibrating energy in the universe, and how does that relate to our consciousness?
It all sounds intriguing from a quantum physics point of view. We all know that at the atomic and subatomic levels, particles are not solid objects but energy patterns, being waves and vibrations and always moving. These vibrating energy fields are everything, from microcosms (smallest particles) to macrocosms (far-distant objects)—all connected.
The Universe as a Field of Vibrations
According to quantum theory, everything consists of matter and energy as waves, forming an interconnected sea of what we call vibrations—infinitesimal pulses vibrating through everything, each resonating with every other vibration against what must certainly be a large field. The concept here is for a 'quantum field', in which particles hop in and out of existence, and each wave somehow influences another. However, these interactions are not limited by distance: two particles can remain entangled across vast distances, as Einstein famously called this phenomenon ‘spooky action at a distance'.
When we look at energy in this way, when we even think about putting it on the same plane of the vibrancy, interconnected field, we start to understand consciousness as a part of the field itself. We are not just observers of the universe; we also actively participate, and our consciousness may be as much a part of this vibrating energy as the particles and waves that make matter itself.
Consciousness as a Vibration
We might say it is intangible, but consciousness can be thought of as a vibration or frequency within this quantum field. Different states of mind—calmness, stress, joy, and so on—relate to different vibrational frequencies within our body and mind. Research in the fields of bioenergetics and neuroscience has demonstrated that what we think and feel possesses a real impact on our body’s energy field, including heart rate, brain wave patterns, and even physical health.
This brings us to an essential concept in both quantum physics and spirituality: the notion that our thoughts and emotions resonate with specific frequencies. From this viewpoint, emotions such as gratitude, love, and compassion are higher-frequency vibrations not just raising our mood but putting ourselves closer to the higher-frequency of the interconnected field. Instead, there are emotions such as fear, anger, or anxiety whose vibrations would be lower and thus cause us a sense of dissonance in us as well as our surroundings.
One of the most important water researchers the world has known is Dr. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who revolutionized the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact the physical realm.
In his book, Dr. Emoto demonstrates how water exposed to loving, benevolent, and compassionate human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water while water exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions results in disconnected, disfigured, and “unpleasant” physical molecular formations. He did this through Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology and high-speed photographs. Source
Emoto found that treating water with "love and appreciation" or melodic music could create structured snowflakes, while water exposed to negative thoughts or heavy metal music produced distorted and incomplete flakes. What would be a possible interpretation of this? In the interconnected field, water mirrors what is happening in the sea of quantum waves. Waves self-organize themselves to create structured geometric: complex snowflake patterns. It is purely conscious. Could there be a medium from which water imprints information?
According to Plato, each solid is linked to the classical elements—fire, earth, air, ether, and water—respectively—tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron—highlighting the interconnectedness of the universe.
The icosahedron and the dodecahedron are duals, so connecting the centers of the faces of an icosahedron gives a dodecahedron and vice versa. Icosahedra have the same number of faces as dodecahedra have vertices, and vice versa. Icosahedra and dodecahedra have the same number of edges. Also, the number of faces at each vertex of an icosahedron is the same as the number of edges on each face of a dodecahedron, and vice versa.
Sacred geometry shows that water is intimately connected with the fifth element, ether, and could be well mirroring what is occurring within the etheric medium as a physical, tangible, and visible imprint. So, instead of looking at only water as the medium carrying this information, it would be more likely interesting to understand the nature of the ether as the interconnected field/consciousness and what is causing the ether to organize itself to form structured snowflake patterns. The answer lies in the quality of the words said, so the frequency emitted through the words and what they mean.
The Resonance of Our Thoughts and Reality
In looking further, the concept of vibrations states that our thoughts are not individual events but that our thoughts are energetic events with the ability to impact the world around us. The idea is carried over into the concept of "resonance," stating that when a first object vibrates at a certain frequency and comes into proximity with another object, the latter can vibrate at the same frequency as the former object. Perhaps this principle of resonance can teach us something about the relationship between our thoughts—vibrational patterns in our minds—and the surrounding world and even our reality.
Research involving quantum consciousness still has a lot of leaps to catch up; although still emerging, the awareness may be connected to a field of universal vibrations. Through the practice of tuning our thoughts and emotional frequency, we may be able to open to more harmonious ways of being, allowing us to connect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us in better, more alignment with our surroundings.
Practical Ways to Tune into Higher Vibrations
If consciousness and vibration are tied, then how do we raise our vibration to higher levels of consciousness? Here are a few practices rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science:
Mindfulness and Meditation: In these practices, we calm the mind, slow down thoughts, and elevate ourselves to inner peace. Regular meditation has been proven to move the brainwaves by bringing us into a more coherent, relaxed state that vibrates with higher frequencies.
Heart-centered Emotions: We know from experience that emotions such as gratitude, compassion, and love raise our frequency. These emotions can be grown to form a feeling of oneness with others, which will increase our potential to connect with the energy of the universe.
Sound and Music: We’ve shown that different frequencies can influence our mood and our energy. Other ancient traditions like chanting or even just listening to frequencies such as 528 Hz (often called the 'love frequency') and 432 Hz are said to align us to the natural vibrations of harmony and healing.
Spending Time in Nature: Being around nature can help us to recalibrate our energy fields at a balanced and harmonious frequency. It is thought to resonate with the ideal vibration of our own body.
Mindful Breathing: Focused breathing exercises can have a really big impact on our energy levels. Breathwork helps to regulate our nervous system, balance our energy, and raise our vibrational coherence to a much higher level.
The Quantum Connection
In the end, the repercussions of these interconnections between quantum theory, energy, and consciousness lead to questions of deepest import about the nature of reality and how we relate to it. If the whole universe is vibrating energy, then our consciousness must be a part and parcel of the vibrant web. Knowing how our energy works within the universal field might give us the power to not only change who we are but also the world we live in.
In The Quantum Blueprint, we’ll further explore these ideas, tying ancient wisdom to modern science. When so much is unknown, energy and vibrations are opening to see beyond what is seen and explore the unseen—discover the powerful, invisible forces that give color to our lives.
I have a question for you that I've been contemplating for a long time.
As you said, everything is vibrating. The ether or the wave is always vibrating. I have been contemplating if there is a third component in addition to the wave and the particle which is completely empty, still and silent. I have been trying to reconcile the idea that "everything vibrates" with the experience of silence and stillness I have in a deep meditation, and with the emptiness Eastern religions always aspire towards, not to mention the empty blackness that almost all near-death experiencers speak of when they tell of their experience.
What do you think?
I just ordered your book from Amazon. It's very rare to writing about ether, all the elements are very interesting.Thank you!
