The Philosophy of “as above, so below”

The concept of "as above, so below" is an essential philosophy in Hermeticism, Kabbalah, and multiple Pagan beliefs. This principle establishes reflective and corresponding relationships between cosmic realms (including the universe, heavens, and divinity) and human existence with Earth and earthly manifestations.

As above, so below

This phrase, in its simplest explanation, expresses how the principles of the macrocosm correspond to those of the microcosm.

This principle establishes direct linkages between big celestial realities and their smaller and individual aspects. A phenomenon observed at big scales consistently appears in smaller scales at the same time as observations at smaller scales demonstrate in larger scales. The microcosm exhibits an energetic and symbolic relationship with the macrocosm, even though it does not reflect directly.

The outer world shows itself through our mental and emotional existence and beliefs, while our beliefs and mental state make our world appear outwardly. Self-knowledge stems from comprehension of the universe, which leads to a complete understanding of both ourselves and the universe's structure.

The phrase declares that all elements in the universe exist as interconnected parts of a whole. All elements exist as parts of a comprehensive web where modifications in one sector inevitably produce results throughout other sectors. Cosmic power transformations become visible through altered personal lives, which then affect cosmic power.

This principle finds practical use in multiple spheres where it appears as follows:

• Through alchemy, practitioners interpreted the process of changing base metals into gold as a symbolic match for spiritual human development.

• According to astrology, heavenly stars and planets affect human conduct and collective occurrences through their orbital positions.

• Through ritual practices, people try to capture cosmic powers to achieve particular changes within personal life or in the bigger picture.

• Through awareness of universal patterns and energies, people gain a better understanding of their personal life development.

Other examples:

• The atomic structure resembles the solar system arrangement, which serves as a standard analogy describing this principle.

• Internal turmoil expresses societal turmoil, while the person's emotional state matches broader societal turbulence.

• When an inner awakening is experienced, leading to a spiritual transformation, a person's physical existence in the world begins to shift.

The origin of “As above, so below”

The origin of the exact meaning of “as above, so below” covers many fields due to widespread incorporation by multiple belief systems.

The origin of this writing can be found in the ancient document named the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus. The texts attributed to Hermes Trismegistus include the Hermetic Corpus, among other writings. But these works span centuries. Hermes Trismegistus might have existed as one individual. The figure incorporates characteristics from both the Greek God Hermes and the Egyptian God Thoth. The Emerald Tablet resists clear dating since it belongs to the same group as the other Hermetic manuscripts.

Though numerous assertions have been provided about the origin of the Emerald Tablet, so far, there is no confirmable evidence that has been supportive of them. The oldest documentable source of the text of the Emerald Tablet is the Kitab sirr al-haliqi, the Book of the Secret of Creation and the Art of Nature in Arabic from around 800-900 CE, which had been a composite of the earlier works.

He wrote books and those in great number, relating to the knowledge of divine things, in which he asserts the majesty of the supreme and only God, and makes mention of Him by the same names which we use--God and Father." The number 12, a foundational number

We explored the philosophy and origin of “As above, so below.” We will now explore this principle through the example of an interesting number. This number is 144,000, which has a direct link to the Great Pyramid, which refers back to Thoth, the ancient architect. But before we get into it, we will briefly discuss the number 12 that pops up in different places, both in human constructs (microcosm) and in the natural world (perceived macrocosm)

The number 12 is a number that has long been used in the governance of societies to bring order. This number is not arbitrary, but it has its qualities within the hierarchy of the structure and order in the universe. The number 12 encompasses many layers of consciousness in itself, revealing more than any other number. What is the mathematical power of 12? The number 12 has a strong connection with the power of 9. Multiplying 12 consecutively by itself, information about microcosm and macrocosm can be deciphered. The measurement of units can be constructed, and the result always adds up to 9.

Here is a breakdown:

• 12 x 12 = 144 and 1 + 4 + 4 = 9, the 12th Fibonacci number, and 144Hz is the musical note D (if we consider to build the frequencies on numbers of root 9, which means the sum of their digits add up to 9).

• 12 x 12 x 12 = 1,728 and 1 + 7 + 2 + 8 = 18 and 1 + 8 = 9. Note that 1.728 ft is 1 Royal Egyptian Cubit.

• 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 = 20,736. Converting 1.728ft into inches, we get 20.736 inches for the Royal Egyptian Cubit.

• 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 = 248,832. Divide this number by 10, and we obtain 24,883.2, which is the circumference of Earth in miles, with the radius defined as 3960 in miles, and the value of PI (π) is 3.14181818, named as the Fibonacci PI (π), an exact rational 864/275.

• 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 x 12 = 2,985,984. This number is the circumference of the sun added to one-tenth of it. The circumference of the sun is calculated as the product between the sun's diameter and PI (π).

Calculation of the sun’s circumference in miles:

Therefore, we have

Surely, if we carry on calculating the higher powers of 12, we will get new information on a bigger scale than the sun itself, maybe our solar system or galaxy. To be investigated.

The number 144000

We may all have heard of the significance of the number 144,000. It appears in many esoteric teachings and in the Bible. It also takes us back to Ancient Egypt, as the Great Pyramid of Giza originally received protection from 144,000 Tura limestone casing stones. An interlocking pattern of stones protected the pyramid structure and gave it a reflective appearance in sunlit conditions.

These casing stones had a powerful and unique function for the Great Pyramid, and their supposed total number, 144,000, is not a coincidence.

Now, if we refer to the principle of “as above, so below,” and knowing that the Great Pyramid is a mirror of the sky on earth, precisely the star Alnitak from Orion’s belt, what would represent the 144,000 in the heavens?

This number is also encoded within our energetic blueprint, the system of the seven chakras.

The root has 4 petals, the sacral has 6, the solar plexus has 10, the heart has 12, and the throat has 16, which equals 48. The third eye chakra is represented by 96 and only has 2 petals because it is 2 times as powerful as the 5 lower chakras. The crown chakra is said to be 1000 times more powerful than the lower 6 chakras. So when you add the lower 6, you get (16+12+10+6+4=48), and 144 × 1000 = 144,000.

We can see a numerical coding pattern within 144,000 that is much deeper than we could initially perceive, revealing hidden mathematical structures and relationships that connect it to our bodies (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual), sacred geometry, frequency harmonics, and cosmic cycles.

Connection to the speed of light in nautical per mile

The speed of light in a vacuum is approximately 299,792,458 meters per second. To convert this to nautical miles per second, we use the conversion:
1 nautical mile = 1,852 meters.

Rescaling our standard time, we can define a new second of a ratio of 9/8 of a standard second. We get a “grid time” of a longer time with 1 new second = 1.125 standard seconds. This particular rescaling was developed by Bruce Cathie (1930–2013), who was a New Zealand pilot and researcher known for his work on the planetary energy grid and harmonic physics. He proposed that the Earth is structured along a geometric energy grid, which influences everything from sacred sites to atomic physics and even UFO phenomena.

If we apply the scaling to the speed of 161,875 in the “grid time” unit, with a correction of 1/1152, we get exactly 144,000 nautical miles per second.

Let’s note that the latitude of the Great Pyramid, when expressed in degrees, shares the same digits as the speed of light. This suggests possible clues pointing to the existence of a grid system related to the speed of light. Now, with so many interpretations on the number 144,000. If there were once upon a time 144000 casing foundational stones for the Great Pyramid. The polished limestone made the pyramid highly reflective, possibly making it visible from great distances. Would it also imply a foundational number for 144,000 seeds of light (souls) that were once upon a time involved with a much greater picture beyond Earth?
